Upgrade Notebook's RAM Step by Step

Upgrade Your Laptop’s Random Access Memory.

1. Shut down your laptop and pull out the power wire.

2. Untwist the screws which protect the RAM section.

3. Carefully turn the cover up and slide it away. In most laptops there will be two 512MB random access memory panels attached on one another.

4. Applying your fingers carefully push the metal gripes on which the first RAM panel is fastened in its location. Thus the RAM panel would be turned away of its niche.

5. Redo the mentioned stages for another RAM panel.

6. Align the side of a bought RAM panel with the lower RAM slot and carefully turn it in at a 45-degree angle.

7. Try fixing the RAM stick in the slot until it matches it correspondingly.

8. For putting in one more RAM module onto the first one, redo the stages 4 to 7.

9. Close the RAM section with a cover and twist the screws.
